Winters can be harsh and with it comes sickness of the common cold to bad flues. Chicken soup is good for the cold, not just the soul, that’s what any grandma or mother will tell you. It always makes me feel better and i know my kids as soon as they get sniffles they all cry out for chicken soup. You know in that one bowl of rich goodness something healthy and good is being devoured and that alone is a step closer to feeling better. Mina’s Chicken Noodle Soup is one i have been making for myself and my children for years , it is hearty and delicious and guaranteed to warm you from head to toe.
I dice all my vegetables into small pieces makes ir easier on saw throats and my kids always enjoyed it like that. So diced everything up nice and small.
In a large soup pot spray with some cooking oil and medium heat lets saute the onions, celery and carrots with 1 tsp of salt for 5 minutes.
Add your cabbage and another tsp of salt and your 2 tbsp of poultry seasoning and stir well and nestle in your chicken breast and let cook for a further 5 minutes.
Add 12 cups of water, last tsp of salt and 2 chicken bullion cubes and garlic, stir well and leave on the stove on a gentle boil for 30 minutes.
Remove the chicken and add in your No Yolks Egg White Pasta, Fine and then continue to shred the chicken and add back into the soup. Cook till the noodles are done this will only take 5 minutes, then enjoy =)
