This tuna steak was insanely good! VERY juicy and extremely flavorful. The trick to this recipe is to not over cook the tuna. Marinated Tuna Steaks is one of my favorites in the summer time its light and hearty at the same time. Goes well with a fresh made salad or with hearty vegetables.
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl well and prick your tuna steaks with a fork a few times and cover them with the sauce and refrigerate and marinate them for at least 1 hour.
In summer i do these out side on the grill or any other time you can use your inside grill but if you don't have a grill just use a good non stick skillet and spray with some cooking spray and on medium heat cook for 4 to 5 minutes, then turn and baste with the marinade. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Discard remaining marinade.
You don't want to over cook your tuna and yes it stays pink inside =). Lightly touch the top of your tuna as it cooks just like a steak you will be able to tell with its firmness how well it is done. The firmer it gets the more well done it will be and dryer. If you have thin steaks use less time cooking.
